The Properties Division is concerned with maintaining and managing the historic sites under the jurisdiction of the Alabama Historical Commission. The Monthly Equipment Report is a listing of maintenance tools at the historic sites. No longer created, the reports were used by the Properties Manager to ensure that pieces of equipment were not disappearing from the premises of the sites. Information listed about the equipment includes the type of tool, the quantity, and the physical condition of each piece. The equipment listed is relatively minor, for it consists of shovels, hammers, rakes, brooms, and other maintenance tools.
